Joe Slovo Tia
Joe Slovo Tia is a lawyer who has ten years’ experience in advising on transactions in energy, banking, finance, and commercial law. He is experienced in commercial litigation and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK. Joe Slovo is also a lecturer at the Law Faculty of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He was an associate at LithurBrew & Company and a senior associate at N. Dowuona & Company, prior to joining the firm.

Dennis Amoah
Dennis is a finance lawyer with ten years of practice. He advises clients on banking, capital markets, real estate, derivatives, finance, oil and gas and power transactions in Ghana. Some of the companies Dennis has advised in his career include Fortune 500 companies and Ghana Club 100 companies. His transactions portfolio currently exceeds 20 billion United States Dollars. Prior to joining Arete Solicitors, Dennis was the Managing Partner of Ogo & Malone and a senior associate of the Finance, Energy Mining, and Infrastructure Group of ENSafrica - Africa’s largest law firm.

William Kofi Owusu Demitia
William Kofi Owusu Demitia is a lawyer, lecturer, and tax consultant with a decade of practice experience. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Sam Okudzeto & Associates and Ali-Nakyea & Associates. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association; the International Fiscal Association; the International Bar Association; an associate member of the American Bar Association; a Tax Practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana; a member of the South African Institute of Taxation and a lecturer at the School of Law, University of Ghana. William has publications in reputable journals including Tax Notes International, the International Transfer Pricing Journal, the Bulletin of International Taxation and he co-authored the fourth and fifth editions of the book; “Law of Taxation in Ghana” with Dr. Benjamin Kunbuor and Dr. Abdallah Ali-Nakyea.
